Today our theme is Fairy Tale World! With just a few simple steps, you'll be able to craft a stunning and lifelike House drawing! In this tutorial, we're going to show you how to tackle the house-drawing process in four simple, straightforward steps - no fuss, no muss! List of Supplies:  Premium Watercolor 12 Half Pan Deluxe Travel Set     Step 1: Sketch A Basic Shape Of The House Grab your trusty sketching pencil and let's get started. First, draw two straight 45-degree lines for the floor and umbrella handle and draw the house at the angle between the two lines as shown in the picture. Then draw a semicircle with the center of the house as an umbrella. Slowly erase the guides to draw the shape of the umbrella. Also, we can add some greenery behind the house - draw two small trees to increase the layering of the picture. Don't forget to add reflections on the ground - it's the perfect finishing touch! After that, dip the concentrated watercolor directly to paint the windows and doors.       Step 2: Select The Basic Color In this step, we can erase the darker draft lines and leave a light layer as a base. Once you have sketched the basic shape of the house, it is time to use our watercolor set of 12. Paint the front of the umbrella with Lemon Yellow and Ultramarine Color on the back. Use Burnt Umber Color on the roof, eaves, and umbrella handles, then dilute with water and apply to the rest of the house.         Step 3: Shade the House  To enhance your painting, start by deepening the overall colors of the umbrella and the hut. Then, use a brown watercolor to outline the edges of the house and umbrella. Next, dilute some lemon yellow, cobalt blue, and Payne's grey with a lot of water and layer the colors from left to right on the ground to create the reflection of the umbrella and the house. This technique adds a sense of realism as if there is standing water on the ground during a rainstorm, while also increasing the contrast in the painting.     Step 4: Add Details to the House You’re almost done! To make your painting more complete, we darkened each color again to add some light and shadow effects. Next, use a thin detail brush dipped in brown to create thin parallel lines on the roof and walls of the house, giving it a wooden texture. Then draw the ribs on both sides of the umbrella. Time to use your imagination and create a dreamlike atmosphere. We draw white stars and a moon inside the umbrella. Finally, add a few clouds outside to blur the reflections of the trees and ground, and add raindrops to the reflections. This creates a romantic scene where the house is enveloped in a starry sky under the umbrella.     Awesome work! Through the above steps, a simple and warm fairy tale house painting is completed. It starts with a general watercolor sketch of the shape and size of the butterfly. First of all, we need to draw dashed lines on the paper similar to the auxiliary lines in the picture to help us draw the general outline of the butterfly. You can change the butterfly to your liking, it doesn't have to be exactly the same as this example, active your imagination. Step 2. Outline edges of wings with watercolorsErase all the interior, and preliminary lines and complete the butterfly watercolor sketch. Now we've done the comparably hard part of butterfly drawings. First the rest of the wing needs to be smudged more naturally and evenly. Then, the tentacles of the butterfly are outlined with the thinnest miniature brush, and then, some fine textures and lines are added to the butterfly wings to make the butterfly wings more transparent and real. Step 6. Optimize all details and highlights Finally optimize all the shadows and add some embellishments to the wings, which will give our watercolor butterfly beautiful texture and detail. For many junior painters, draw a water droplet can be a complex thing because it is supposed to be transparent and will show highlights and shadows in a unique way. You'll find that by using shadows and highlights in the right places, you can make your drawing appear to jump off the page. I have break down how to draw a droplet of water into simple steps in this water droplet drawing tutorial so you can easily follow along. I used a nice set of 35 Pcs Professional Drawing Sketching Pencils for this drawing. It includes 14 drawing pencils, 1 woodless graphite pencil, 3 black charcoal pencils, 3 charcoal sticks and more. These tools can be used to add plenty of value to your project and create beautiful graphite artwork. List of Supplies: 35 Pcs Professional Drawing Sketching Pencils Set 6 Pcs Soft And Medium Core White Charcoal Pencils Set Step 1. Draw three imperfect circlesFirst, let's draw several imperfect circles of different sizes. For this tutorial, we decided to draw three water droplets because such a composition would be more balanced and exciting. Of course, if you want to practice or try it out first, you can start with just a single drop of water. Your first circle should not be too small so that you can easily go through each of the following steps and allow you to replicate that circle in other different sizes successfully. Step 2. Preliminary cast a shadow on the upper left corner of the circleNow that we've settled on the essential placement and shape of the droplets let's start adding shadows! We all know that water is usually transparent, which means it will be the color of its surroundings. When we draw water drops on a white background, because the water droplets are three-dimensional and there is a particular light and shadow relationship, they will be slightly darker than the white paper. So in this step, we start shading and controlling the shadows to give volume to the water droplets. It would be best to decide where the light will fall on the drop in advance. In our water droplets drawing, the light falls from the left side of the top. This means that we will use a pencil to make shades cover more than half of the water droplets. Pay attention to the darker, the closer to the edge, the lighter, the lower right corner until colorless. Step 3. Repeat the last step and blur the shadesThis step is relatively simple, repeat the action of the previous step. Pay attention to keeping the pencil obliquely facing the paper at 45 degrees, try to weaken the layering of the shadow, and then use the paper stump to blur the edge of the shadow. Step 4. Blend and integrate the shadesAfter blending the shadows, we already know our light falls on the droplet from the top left corner. Where the light touches the droplet, a highlight area will appear, which is the area in the lower right corner of the droplet. To create this effect, we'll use a white charcoal pencil to fill the droplets. White charcoal works well on paper and leaves bright white highlights wherever you want. Step 5. Add shadows to each of the realistic water dropletIf there is light coming from the inclined plane, there must be shadows of the objects. They usually appear on the other side of the light source. We can draw dark arcs under each drop to represent their shadows. Step 6. Optimize the details and blend the shadowsAs with the edge shadows in step 3, we first blend the shadows from the water droplets by paper stump to make them appear softer and more diffuse, just like our shadows. The water drop drawing is done at this point! Don't worry if your first drawing isn't perfect. The coloring of transparent 3D objects takes some time to understand. Lemons are a famous yellow, oval-shaped tropical citrus fruit known for their sour taste. The sweet and sour juice of lemons is often used to make lemonade drinks or added to cuisine as a condiment. Lemons are also a good source of vitamin C, which can help with weight control, prevent kidney stones, and provide many more health benefits. That's why it has been the favorite fruit of many people. I've sorted out a step-by-step tutorial on how to draw a lemon. With the help of this guide, whether you are a beginner or a watercolor drawing expert, you can easily draw a lemon in 5 easy steps. Sketch a lemon with a pencilFirst of all, let’s draw a tilted oval. To outline the lemon that looks more realistic, I drew a small semi-circle arc on the far left of the ellipse so that the lemon bulges out a little, and if you have ever watched real lemons, you will find they often have this raised area. Next, draw a lemon stem on the other side and the outlines of two large leaves on either side of the stem. Then, the lemon prototype is complete! Step 2. Set the overall tone and pave the primary background colorWe all know that most lemons are yellow; of course, there are green limes, but most ovals, like the picture shown, are the most primitive yellow lemons. So in this step, we need to use a thick watercolor brush with a small amount of yellow paint and an appropriate amount of water to cover the entire ellipse with light yellow. In order to ensure the freshness of the lemon, the stem and leaves must also use fresh green.  Step 3. Add layers and highlights of the lemonAfter the first layer is completely dry, I use the same yellow paint and a smaller brush with a small amount of water to paint a second and third layer of yellow along the edges of the lemon. Pay attention to leaving the highlights as much as possible, and you can also smudge a small part of the highlights. Likewise, continue to layer the green paint evenly on the parts of the leaves and stems. A small amount of yellow can be mixed with green at the junction of the stem and fruit for a more natural transition. Step 4. Repeat the last step with darker shadesAt this stage, the rudiment of the lemon is already there. We need to mix in a darker brown to make a tawny brown and add some shadow to the bottom for the saturated lemon yellow. At the same time, dark green can be used to deepen the surrounding of the rhizomes and leaves, leaving a lighter area in the middle of the leaves to form the highlights of the leaves. Step 5. Add the shadow and details of the lemonFinally, we need to bring this lemon to life. We start by adding some 'spots' to the localized areas of the lemon, but not the highlights. These spots are found in many fruits, most typically bananas. It can also be imagined as partially natural stains, such as dirt/dust, which appear more organic. Next, mix light purple and blue on the bottom of the lemon to create a shadow for the lemon painting, which immediately looks three-dimensional.
