How to draw a rain boots
Autumn often comes along with light rain. Inevitably, our shoes will get wet when it rains, and this is when our rain boots come in handy. It can reasonably ensure that our shoes do not get wet on rainy days but also has a non-slip function on rainy days. And the gorgeous color not only adds to your fashion but also allows everyone to better distinguish your position in the rain with blurred vision. Today I will show you how to paint these pink rain boots step by step.
List of Supplies:
Step 1: Outline the Rain Boots Carefully
Let's start by drawing the cuffs of the rain boots. First, enclose an oval. Then, draw a “C” shaped line through the middle of it. This indicates the opening in the top of the rubber boots. Next, extend two long curved lines down from the cuff. Notice that one line takes the shape of the toe of the rubber boots. Enclose the opening with a curved line, completing the basic boot outline. After drawing the shoe's shape, draw the heel and sole of the rain boot on the bottom. Leave some blank space to make them more realistic after.
Step 2: Apply the Base Color
Choose our pink and white colored pencils for a wide range of coloring. You need to paint the main part of the rain boots, the sole, and the heel part of the shoe. Be careful to avoid the white areas. The weight of your paintbrush will depend on how deep or bright you want your color to look. Try to be consistent in your process so that the surface of your rain boots will be just right.
Step 3: Secondary Coloration
Take out our dark pink and gray for our second coloring. We painted the shoe's upper part with our dark pink and the sole and heel with our gray. Of course, the mouth of our boots has also been painted with shaded regions, so the shoes look three-dimensional. The white part of the shoe makes it have a reflective effect.
Step 4: Paint Details, Add Shadows
Let's move on to the details. We first used pink pencils to draw the decorative lines of the shoe and the decorations on the mouth of the shoe. Next, we will paint the sole and heel black and the tip of the shoe dark pink. It will give our rain boots a very reflective look. Because rain boots have made of rubber material makes them look smooth. That's the reason we used white space to highlight its features.
