Bought one for me and my painting buddy- a great excuse to get together and paint the calendar for next year!! Where is 2027????
I love 4-color pens; love how they feel in my hand. I particularly like these because the sliders clearly show the pen colors (others I have make it hard to tell black from blue). I'm not crazy about the metal pocket holder; it doesn't seem strong enough. However, I don't expect to ever use it, so no problem!

I was looking to replace my store-bought gel pens with something more elevated and I really like these pens! They write smoothly and erase easily. I only wish they came in more colors (basic red, green, blue) and that they had a pen clip so that I can clip them to things.
I love this subscription box and the dot by letter mindful coloring book! The colors and quality of the paint pens are great and I love the scenes in the book. However- I have sight issues and the letters are sometimes so faint it’s almost impossible to see what I should be doing. I understand why we’d want these to be lighter, but a hair darker (or different numbers, especially those that look similar) to be a little darker would be so wonderful! I’ll still use these products, and if you don’t any sight concerns you should be able to see them no issue.
The latest box was very disappointing. Stamps on wooden blocks take up way too much space. The box was mostly stamps. It would have been better to have them where you put them on a single acrylic block

These shrinky dinks were a crowd favorite at our recent crafting party! Everyone had a great time painting the provided images. However, we were all left wondering about the name… where is the sparkle? We assumed that maybe the paint pens would have glitter or perhaps the paper would be sparkly. The name is just misleading. Can’t say enough how much I love the included Grabie paint pens!
This craft kit is super cute! All our party guests enjoyed finding their zen while painting the donuts and ocean animals. I especially like the paint pens that are included. It’s super cool that the pens are double sided!
The images on these post cards are great! However, this definitely is not a 30 minute craft… the bead packets are supposed to be perforated to open easily but definitely grab a pair of scissors to make your life easier. I wish the directions were more clear on how to use all the included tools as well. You definitely get a lot of value for the price!
We tried a lot of different Grabie Crafts during a craft party we recently held and I think all of the adults knew exactly what this craft was before we started, however a lot were impressed to see these kits come with accessories, making them a lot cooler / easier to use after than the OG ones. I personally did not make any of these, but this is what my friend helping the kids with this craft had to say about them:
"The shrink to sparkle kit was easy to do and came with a variety of options to customize the shrinkies. The only downside is that the adhesive that came with the kit did not work well. Also just as a side note, the less shrinkies you put in the oven at one time, the more consistent they come out."
My children did make some and I noticed that if you don't use a color or color just inside the lines, the images may not show through, such as the wording in my attached picture. I think this craft is also best for older kids. Younger kids might be able to do with more supervision but honestly there are just better kits on the Grabie website that younger kids would enjoy so much more.
Beautiful colors, easy to use
I really rarely give 5 star reviews, but this craft was the hands down favorite! I personally did not do this craft, (because we had NONE left after the party), ((YES all 3 of these boxes were completely gone by the end!!)). So this is what one of the parents who supervised the craft had to say:
" I have never seen a craft like this, so it was a lot of fun to watch it go from flat to puffy! I was surprised to see that the markers are water based but they didn't smear when we added water. However, the ones who tried to paint the water on DID smear, but only a little. I wish that some more basic colors had been included like red and yellow instead of 3 pinks and beige and pale orange, etc. This craft is super user friendly and great for kids of any age! Even my 4-year-old niece could do it with 0 problems."
We held a crafting party with a few different types of Grabie Crafts and I would say this is probably the second most popular craft among the kids. The only complaint about these is that they are pretty small. Slightly bigger magnets would have been great but all the kids still loved these. The double sided markers provided so many color options without sacrificing quality. I was genuinely surprised at how well these markers covered up the white in just one coat. The finishing glaze was easy to apply and dried pretty quickly. Since this is basically just coloring with special markers and on a different surface than paper, it is a super easy craft that any age child really could enjoy (some with supervision of course!) The reason I said these were a hit is because during clean up I realized we had NONE left!!
I do also have to disclose that these are NOT(!) NOT safe for stainless steel appliances...
Other than that no complaints, big hit, easy to make and clean up after.
I really rarely give 5-star reviews, I do have more positive than negative things to say about it, but I want to include some suggestions to make this kit even better. My only 2 complaints with these kits are: 1) It comes with 10 designs but only ONE pen and ONE set of grouped together diamonds. What I mean by this is that even though there are so many designs to choose from, there is only one pen so only one child can do it at a time. I feel like 2 pens would just make this so much better so kids can work quietly but near each other or help each other out if needed. 2) There is just a string of bags with 1 color in each bag so let's say "B - Blue" well postcard 1 might need 7 B's and postcard 4 needs 8 B's and so on and so forth so you have to be really careful not to lose or confuse the colors, or you will not be able to use them on other cards. I understand it would be more packaging needed for this kit but honestly for each post card to have it's own string/group of colors would make this tremendously better! Especially for parties like this or for siblings to share.
Now for the positives! My 4-year-old niece demanded to do this craft so we gave it a go and honestly, she could do it with help! If you have a lot of patience this could totally be a "mommy and me" craft for kids of all ages. The directions are simple enough that once you do a few diamonds, you can do any! Now, with the tiny diamonds of course these are better for ages 8+ but again it just depends on your child. I was so surprised that after our craft party my 11 year old and 13 year old just sat at the kitchen table each doing their own for a good while without getting bored! And they turned out SOOO CUTE!! I absolutely love the idea of using these as postcards to brighten someone's day! This kit does come with tiny baggies for each color, just be prepared to label them! Compared to other diamond kits I just think these are so much better! They are all beautiful, but the "cozy" moments was the overall favorite pick!
These are perfect for my craft and art projects. The dual tone markers give me plenty of colors but minimize the space needed to store them.
These are my favorite and go to for glitter ink pens. They work reliably and have such a vibrant color they make any pages you are coloring pop with distinction. The only negative, which I did not take a star off for, I wish the individual pens had the color labeled on the pen itself in addition to the color swatch provided on the packaging. Some colors are hard to identify just looking at the pen. If you don’t keep the pens in the order on the packaging, you will have trouble identifying the pen color. PLEASE LABEL THE COLORS ON THE PEN!!!!

Great way to get new magnets for your fridge that your kids get to design, this one was a big hit.
These kits are fabulous for kids that want to try diamond painting, but don't want a project that takes weeks or months. The kids got these done in one night and loved it.
My girls lives painting these and have them on display around the house.
I have always wanted to try a kit like this and the Grabie version was the perfect place to start. Easy instructions for everyone, old and young in our craft party and while these took concentration and patience, everyone agreed that the process was relaxing and the end results so super satisfactory.
I wasn't so sure about this craft at first, but I really love how this craft engaged the imagination and silly side of everyone who participated in our party, both young and old alike.
These are marketed towards kids, but fun for adults as well. I forgot how soothing it can be to color something in and engage in a clear-cut art project. Plus they make my fridge look whismical and adorable.
