How to Draw a Stunning Rock Painting by Blending Acrylic Markers

Rock painting is a fun and creative way to blend nature with personal artistic style. With our extra fine tip acrylic markers, you can easily create detailed and vibrant artworks on rock surfaces. Today, we’ll guide you through simple steps to create a dreamy night sky jungle scene. These steps will help you master blending techniques and create your own unique masterpiece.

 List of Supplies:

· Smooth, clean rocks

· Grabie Extra Fine Tip Acrylic Marker Set (28 colors)

· A soft blending brush (miniature brushes work best)

Step 1
Choose two base colors you love for the night sky. Apply the darker color to the top of the rock and the lighter one below it.

Step 2
Now it’s time to mix things up! Using a soft brush, like one of our miniature brushes, gently blend the two colors where they meet. Sweep the brush lightly to soften the transition and create a smooth gradient. This will serve as the backdrop for your scene.

Step 3
Once the first layer is dry, repeat the process with two more colors, such as Iris purple and Eminence. Blend the edges to create a seamless flow of colors between layers.

Step 4
With a black acrylic marker, sketch the jungle silhouette. Draw tall trees, leafy branches, and foliage to create depth and dimension. Silhouettes work beautifully against the blended sky.

Step 5
Choose your moon color—classic white, soft yellow, or even a bold shade like silver. Draw a glowing moon to anchor your scene.

Step 6
Use a white acrylic marker to scatter stars across the sky. Add motion with shooting stars or meteor trails for extra charm. For finishing touches, refine any details and enhance textures to make your scene pop.

And there you have it—a breathtaking jungle night sky rock painting! With a few layers of carefully blended colors and some creative detailing, you’ve transformed an ordinary rock into a piece of art.
