I really rarely give 5-star reviews, I do have more positive than negative things to say about it, but I want to include some suggestions to make this kit even better. My only 2 complaints with these kits are: 1) It comes with 10 designs but only ONE pen and ONE set of grouped together diamonds. What I mean by this is that even though there are so many designs to choose from, there is only one pen so only one child can do it at a time. I feel like 2 pens would just make this so much better so kids can work quietly but near each other or help each other out if needed. 2) There is just a string of bags with 1 color in each bag so let's say "B - Blue" well postcard 1 might need 7 B's and postcard 4 needs 8 B's and so on and so forth so you have to be really careful not to lose or confuse the colors, or you will not be able to use them on other cards. I understand it would be more packaging needed for this kit but honestly for each post card to have it's own string/group of colors would make this tremendously better! Especially for parties like this or for siblings to share.
Now for the positives! My 4-year-old niece demanded to do this craft so we gave it a go and honestly, she could do it with help! If you have a lot of patience this could totally be a "mommy and me" craft for kids of all ages. The directions are simple enough that once you do a few diamonds, you can do any! Now, with the tiny diamonds of course these are better for ages 8+ but again it just depends on your child. I was so surprised that after our craft party my 11 year old and 13 year old just sat at the kitchen table each doing their own for a good while without getting bored! And they turned out SOOO CUTE!! I absolutely love the idea of using these as postcards to brighten someone's day! This kit does come with tiny baggies for each color, just be prepared to label them! Compared to other diamond kits I just think these are so much better! They are all beautiful, but the "cozy" moments was the overall favorite pick!
These kits are fabulous for kids that want to try diamond painting, but don't want a project that takes weeks or months. The kids got these done in one night and loved it.
I have always wanted to try a kit like this and the Grabie version was the perfect place to start. Easy instructions for everyone, old and young in our craft party and while these took concentration and patience, everyone agreed that the process was relaxing and the end results so super satisfactory.
This is such a great way to de stress. I love that it’s on a smaller scale and it doesn’t take up a lot of time.

The kids enjoyed matching the symbols and placing the tiny square gems one at a time to bring each picture to life. Everything was organized well, and the smaller format allowed them to finish a complete project without losing interest. The sparkling finished cards looked much more polished than we expected and felt sturdy enough to display or give as gifts. This activity required focus and patience but was still simple enough to feel fun rather than frustrating. It was a wonderful screen-free craft for quiet time, parties, or rainy afternoons.
