First, I bought one of these calendars for myself and had so much fun painting all twelve of them instead of waiting for the new year and painting one a month. I put the calendar away and will pull it out when January rolls around. Then I thought what great gifts these would make. I bought nine more and have been painting them for special people who I know would love them. I only have three left to do and look forward to mailing them as special Christmas/New Year’s cards in December. I took photos of each set so I can remember what I painted for whom!
Now I just worry about the art rather than formating the calendar Thanks!!
Loved the project even though I found the hot pressed paper a bit hard to work with. Would have liked a better cold pressed version.
I asked my book club (just three other people) to tell me 18 of their favorite books of all time (so it would be a surprise) and then I chose 12 and painted a watercolor of the covers of these books. They know they are coming as New Year’s presents!
Wife loved the si,e and the pictures. Also picked up brimushes that she said were the best she has ever seen
